Women's Refuge's new fundraising comedy
23 to 26 May 2012
Do sausage sizzles make you sick? Have meat raffles passed their use by date? Women’s Refuge would like to invite you to a fundraiser that will have you laughing out loud and grinning from ear to ear - Nana Pat and Paula’s’ Quiz Night!
From May 23rd until the 26th Caffiend Café in Petone is hosting four evenings of mirth and mayhem that will impact on your lives in a devastating way! This new show, written and performed by Geraldine Brophy and Nikki McDonnell is an actual quiz night set within an evening of comedy. Nana Pat and Paula are two Wainuiomata chicks who work hard, eat wrong and drive big Holdens, but still find time to bring self improvement and DIY to the greater Wellington region. You will experience all manner of life-enhancing tips, demonstrations and unimaginable goings on that will have the audience missing limbs and brain cells by the finish. You may also leave with some prizes (but not very good ones).
Tickets are $35 at the door, but each show will actually fundraise for Women’s Refuge, so bring your wallets as well as your sense of humour. Places are limited and their last season was a sell out, so please phone or text 022 169 4631, or email nanapatandpaula@refuge.org.nz to book your seats. Don’t miss out, organise a group of friends and join Nana Pat and Paula for a night you’ll never forget!
Nana Pat and Paula’s Quiz Night is at Caffiend Café 233 Jackson St Petone, Thurs 24th, Fri 25th and Sat 26th of May at 8pm.
